Comprehensive Design-Installation-Certification Service
Design
During the Design process, the site is inspected by a registered engineer, and drawings are prepared using AutoCad with vehicle manoeuvring paths modelled using AutoTurn vehicle path software. For complex situations, a detailed traffic study can be carried out and a Traffic Report prepared for submission to the local authority. If required, we are able to coordinate any applications through the authority so that any changes to traffic arrangements are properly assessed and approved.
Installation
During the Installation process, Skildtraffic utilises state of the art Graco linemarking equipment and premium paint products. Our staff are highly experienced, and together with the oversight of a professional engineer will ensure that the correct markings are implemented in accordance with the applicable standards and with a high degree of accuracy.
Certification
Upon completion of works, Skildtraffic will provide a CERTIFICATION letter (signed by a registered engineer) confirming that the works have been carried in accordance with the approved drawings, are safe, and comply with relevant standards. This is a service that is typically not provided by our competitors however is important for liability reasons.

Skildtraffic is associated with Rytenskild Traffic Engineering, which is a professional traffic engineering consultancy headed by Luke Rytenskild.
Luke is a professional civil engineer specialising in traffic engineering and transport planning and an accredited Road Safety Auditor. He has over 20 years of experience and has provided input to over 6,000 property development projects throughout Australia, predominantly in Queensland and NSW. He is well known as an expert to the Planning and Environment Court of Queensland and is active in supporting the local industry through his involvement with the School of Engineering at Griffith University.
Rytenskild Traffic Engineering is known for providing innovative solutions to traffic design problems, and adding value to projects by achieving efficient design outcomes. Skildtraffic is able to assist with the implementation of such solutions through the installation of road and car park markings, and various traffic products such as speed humps, bollards and wheel stops. How Do We Differ?
Being associated with a professional traffic engineering consultancy, Skildtraffic is able to provide comprehensive Design, Installation and Certification services. We are often involved during the initial design phase with the architect, well before line marking services are required. Our professional expertise also allows us to produce or modify designs ‘on-site’, and certify that they have been completed in accordance with relevant standards.
It is often the case that changes to the line marking layout are required ‘on site’ in the event that dimensions are different to those shown on the plan. Or, there simply may be a better solution to a problem, which only becomes evident on-site. As engineers, we are able to endorse such changes ‘on-site’ rather than seek third party approval.
